The “212″

In just 11 days, on November 2nd, 212 candidates, both new and old, will be elected to the New York State legislature, 62 members to the Senate and 150 members to the Assembly. These legislative races could possibly make or break our state. It is important that you know who represents you and what THEY truly represent. It’s time to GOTV – Get Out the Vote!

As Judgment Day for the NYS Legislature comes nearer, keep one thing in mind. Before candidates tell you what they’ll do… ask them what they’ve done. Don’t think that what you are hearing is correct or accurate. Get educated.And if you don’t get a good enough answer, then don’t give them your vote.

As Judgment Day Approaches, Get Informed on the Issues

Between now and Nov. 2, you’ll be bombarded with information on the candidates, each with a story to tell about why he or she should be your choice and why their opponent isn’t even worth consideration. Rather than relying on these commercials, take the time to do some research. See what groups like Unshackle Upstate, NFIB and the Business Council of New York State are saying about the issues and the candidate’s stances on them. Then factor that information into your Judgment Day decision on Nov. 2.
