Last Tuesday, the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce unveiled its 2017 legislative agenda to its members. Among the highest priorities are improving air service in the region, as well as workforce and economic development.
Jennifer Conway, President & CEO of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, said:
“Were looking for different types of relief from worker’s comp, scaffold law, making sure minimum wage doesn’t go higher as were grappling with what happened last year, really fighting for an economy that’s pro-business and then there’s growth for everyone all the way down to the employees.”
The Chamber also set a new vision for its future, complete with a new logo and brand.
The Greater Binghamton Chamber is an important part of Unshackle Upstate, and we look forward to working with them again in 2017 as we urge Albany lawmakers to extend the property tax cap, reduce regulation, hold the line on state spending, and bring ride hailing services Upstate.
