Our partners at the Buffalo Niagara Partnership (BNP) released their 2016 Advocacy Agenda last week.


In addition to promising to oppose the proposed $15 per hour minimum wage, BNP plans to push for additional workers’ Compensation reforms; changes to worker training programs to focus on skills that are in high demand by employers and the jobs they need to fill; and providing relief from onerous utility taxes on manufacturers and other big power users.
