Last week, the Business Council of New York State (BCNYS) provided a rebuttal to a SUNY Buffalo economic professor who argues that an increase in the minimum wage is “good economics.”  Clearly the professor does not have to figure out how to meet a new state wage mandate.

We will working closely with the Business Council and a host of other organizations whose members do live in the real world to explain that there are real costs to a state-imposed minimum wage increase, and real businesses that will have to figure out how to pay those costs.  Or else they will go out of business.
