Last  Tuesday, the Senate Republican Conference met in a closed-door conference in the Capitol to discuss their 2016 legislative priorities, and to introduce their newest conference member, Senator Fred Akshar.

Most of the Senate’s 32 Republican members participated in the lengthy, closed-door meeting, along with Senator Simcha Felder, a Brooklyn Democrat who sits with the GOP.

The Assembly’s Democratic Majority will be holding a similar conference in Albany tomorrow.
