Former Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy, who now serves as head of the Rochester Business Alliance as well as on the leadership team of Unshackle Upstate, will serve as the chair of the AIM Photonics Leadership Council, a five-member panel that will oversee the establishment of the major photonics center in Rochester.
The Leadership Council will establish the strategic and technical direction for the $600 million Integrated Photonics Institute for Manufacturing Innovation that will be located near Rochester.
