On October 15, the Public Service Commission (PSC) holds its next meeting

On October 21, the Senate Task Force on Workforce Development will hold a public hearing in Rochester “to examine initiatives and determine best practices for job skill training and re-training programs, and provide recommendations to foster workforce development in New York State.”

On October 23, the Assembly’s committees on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions and Economic Development, Job Creation, Commerce and Industry will hold a public hearing in New York City “to examine the telecommunications marketplace and the ability of consumers to obtain affordable and high quality cable, broadband, and telephone service.”

On October 26 and 27, the Board of Regents holds its next meeting.
