Last week, the Buffalo News did a deep dive on the state of the Buffalo Niagara region’s economy, and they found that things are moving in the right direction.

The region is seeing steady job growth, increases in average annual pay, increasing number of home sales, and a growing number of young adult with college degrees who are settling in the region. And while no one is ready to say “mission accomplished,” all of the indicators are moving in the right direction.

We need to make sure that this progress continues, and we also need to continue our efforts in Albany until every part of Upstate New York is seeing similar progress.
