A Siena Research Institute poll released last week finds that the two top issues that lawmakers want the Legislature to address are jobs and education. While a wide majority of voters see corruption in Albany as a seriously problem, it is not the most important issue they want the Legislature to address.

The poll finds that almost 75% of voters want to see the state’s property-tax cap continued. We’ll be reminding the Legislature of this as the 2015 legislative session comes to a close…
