The Business Council of New York State released its 2015 Legislative and Regulatory Agenda this week, titled Fix New York.

The group’s agenda emphasizes the progress the state has made over the last four years, and on keeping the state moving in a positive direction. High-profile issues on their agenda include extending the Brownfield Cleanup Program, continuing the state’s implementation of the Common Core standards, and investing the state’s multi-billion dollar windfall from financial settlements to pay for “badly needed improvements to roads, bridges and other public infrastructure.”

There is a great deal of overlap between our 2015 legislative agenda and the Business Council’s priorities. We look forward to working with them in Albany to bring some these ideas to fruition.
