The Buffalo-Niagara Partnership’s new vice president of government affairs, Grant Loomis, assumed his duties last week.

He will be responsible for leading the Partnership’s local, state and federal advocacy and government relations efforts, and in that capacity will be working with Unshackle Upstate.

Most recently, he served as deputy chief of staff to U.S. Representative Chris Collins, where he led the Congressman’s local policy initiatives related to small business, energy and telecommunications.  He also worked in the Erie County Executive’s Office when Mr. Collins held that position.
