The Rochester Business Alliance (RBA) announced last week that it supports the Rebuild NY Now campaign, which highlights the state of disrepair of New York’s infrastructure and calls for a renewed commitment to infrastructure investment. Recent studies have shown that every billion dollars spent on infrastructure repair and development creates 28,000 jobs.

RBA President and CEO Sandy Parker said:

“Infrastructure stands as the critical backbone of commerce. Employers rely on safe and well-maintained roads and bridges to deliver goods and services to their customers. Rochester Business Alliance is pleased to support the Rebuild NY Now campaign to call for an increased emphasis on public investment in the state’s infrastructure in order to boost the economy and create jobs.”
