The Assembly Health Committee is holding a series of public hearings on The New York Health plan legislation (A.5389-A/S.2078-A), which would create state single payer health coverage to replace insurance company coverage.  This week’s hearings will be held on Dec. 8 in Rochester and Dec. 10 in Buffalo.

On Wednesday, Dec. 10, the Regional Economic Development Council award presentation will be held in Albany.

On Thursday, Dec. 11, the Assembly Transportation Committee is holding a public hearing in Albany “to review and assess the impact of the 2014-15 State Budget on the NYS Department of Transportation Two-Year Capital Program.”

On Wednesday, Dec. 17, the Gaming Facility Location Board is expected to announce its recommendations regarding which entities should receive commercial casino licenses.

The Governor will deliver his 2015 State of the State Address on Wednesday, January 7.

On Thursday, Jan. 8, the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership holds its 2015 Regional Agenda Rollout & Public Officials Reception.  (The event was postponed due to the recent snow storm.)

The Governor must present his 2015-16 Executive Budget proposal to the Legislature by Tuesday, January 20th.
