Our friends at the New York Chapter of the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) recently announced New York’s “guardians of Small Business” – those elected officials who are most consistent in their support for New York’s small businesses.  They are:

  • Senator Lee Zeldin (R)
  • Senator Michael Ranzenhofer (R)
  • Senator James Seward (R)
  • Assemblyman Brian Kolb (R)
  • Assemblyman Jane Corwin (R)

NFIB/NY State Director Mike Durant said:

“These five lawmakers have been tremendous advocates for New York’s small business owners and I am proud to present the NFIB Guardian award to each of these lawmakers.   Their steadfast commitment in fighting for main street employers has been exemplary and we look forward to continuing our work together to make significant progress for small business in this state.”
