Poll:  Governor Maintains Large Lead Over Challenger

Gov. Cuomo maintains a large lead over Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, according to a new Siena poll released last week.  Gov. Cuomo leads Astorino by 32 points, down slightly from the last Siena poll from mid-July, which showed him leading by 37 points.

The poll of likely voters finds that 86% say that corruption in state government is a serious problem, but 67% are not familiar with the Moreland Commission or its anti-corruption work.

The poll also shows that Democratic State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli leads his GOP challenger Bob Antonacci by 34 points, and Democratic Attorney General Eric Schneiderman leads his Republican challenger John Cahill by 22 points.
