According to the July 15 campaign finance filing, Gov. Cuomo’s re-election campaign holds a massive financial advantage over his challengers.
Since January, his campaign committee has raised $8.5 million and spent $6.7 million. He began the period with some $33 million, and now has $35 million on hand. Rob Astorino, the Governor’s Republican challenger, has just $2.4 million to spend.
