The Senate is in session today and tomorrow.  The Assembly will hold session today, and committee meetings tomorrow.

Also today, the Senate Labor Committee will hold a public hearing to review “local minimum wage proposals: S.4919, S.5914, S.6455, S.6516, S.6537 and A.8767.”

On June 4th, the Joint Senate Task Force on Heroine and Opioid Addiction will hold its final forum with the Seneca Nation of Indians at the Cattaraugus Community Center from 1 – 4 pm.  The Community Center is located on the Nation’s Cattaraugus Territory.

The deadline to register to vote for the state’s June 24 federal primary elections is June 4.

On Thursday, June 5, the Greater Binghamton Chamber hosts an event on the START-UP NY program.

Also on June 5, the state Broadband Program Office holds the 2014 NYS Broadband Summit in Albany.

On Tuesday, June 10, the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership Manufacturers Council holds a budget briefing event.

The Public Service Commission meets on June 12 in Albany.

The deadline for filing applications through the state’s Regional Economic Development Council process is Monday, June 16 at 4:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, June 18, the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership hosts an event on “The Business of Hydrofracking.”

The 2014 legislative session is scheduled to end on June 19.

The state Board of Regents holds its next meeting in Albany on June 23 and 24.

The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) holds its next meeting on June 24 in Albany.

The state’s federal primary (for Congressional races) will be held on Tuesday, June 24.
