The Legislature is scheduled to be in session next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 31 through April 2.


The 2014-15 state fiscal year begins on April 1.


Later today, the New York Gaming Commission and the Gaming Facility Location Board will meet.  The Gaming Facility Location Board is expected to approve a “request for applications” to operate a gaming facility.


On Tuesday, April 1, there will be a rally for gun rights in Albany.  The event will feature Donald Trump, 2010 GOP gubernatorial nominee Carl Paladino, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino and Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard.


The Public Service Commission holds its next meeting in Albany on April 24.


The State Board of Regents holds its next meeting on April 28 and 29.


The Joint Commission on Public Ethics (JCOPE) holds its next meet on Tuesday, April 29.


The State Board of Elections holds its next meeting on Wednesday, April 30.
