As if anyone needed proof that there is much more work to be done to fix the Upstate economy, we got a reminder from Moody’s, a credit rating agency.

A Moody’s analysis  released last week finds that slowing sales tax revenue among Upstate counties during the last quarter of 2013 is an indication that our region’s economy is stalling during the recovery.

This is why we proposed the New ERA for Upstate. The taxpaying residents of Upstate continue to deal with a heavy tax burden and job loss.  Survey after survey make the facts clear.  It is time for New York State government to put its proverbial “money where its mouth is” and make that plan a reality.  It is time to pass a plan that will benefit US!
