Last Monday, the state Republican party released a “Jobs Agenda” that calls for tax cuts and regulatory reforms; better job-training programs; keeping Indian Point open; allowing natural gas development through hydraulic fracturing; promoting charter schools; providing state support to religiously-affiliated schools; and reforming the teacher tenure system.


In a statement, GOP Chair Ed Cox said:


“Gov. Cuomo has failed.  Instead of seriously addressing jobs and economic growth, Andrew Cuomo has spent the last three years pandering to his Democratic base. In so doing, he has only managed the decline of New York as a center of global commerce.”
