Last Friday, Gov. Cuomo’s office released the administration’s 3rd annual year-end report, titled New York Rising – Year End Report 2013, “detailing progress in 2013.”
According to the Governor’s press release:
“[Gov. Cuomo’s] leadership has restored our State as a model for the nation and demonstrated the impact that an effective and responsive government can have on the lives of its people. With all that has been accomplished over the last three years, it is easy to forget where we started and how far we have come.”
Gov. Cuomo deserves credit for beginning the process of turning the state’s economy around, but there is much, much more work that remains to be done before we can say “mission accomplished.” And most, if not all, of that work needs to be done to boost the Upstate economy.
