Later today, the State Board of Elections meets in Albany.

 

Also later today, the Senate Energy Committee holds a public hearing in New York City “to examine and analyze the plans, contentions and arguments put forward in relation to the Indian Point Contingency proceeding being conducted by the New York State Public Service Commission.”

 

The Senate Finance and Investigations and Government Operations committees hold their remaining public hearings to “review existing tax policy and discuss reform initiatives” later this week — on Thursday, Oct. 3 on Long Island and on Friday, Oct. 4 in Manhattan.

 

On Oct. 7, we will be in Binghamton for a small business panel with our partner at NFIB.  We will also unveil the New ERA for Upstate plan to the Southern Tier community.

 

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Assembly Education Committee and Subcommittee on Students With Special Needs holds a public hearing on New York State’s Special Act School Districts, 853 Schools, and 4201 Schools Serving Students With Disabilities.

 

The Public Service Commission holds its next meeting in Albany on Thursday, Oct. 17.

 

On Friday, October 19, Buffalo-Niagara Partnership holds its Movers & Shakers – Election Preview event.

 

On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce holds its annual Labor & Employment Law Update event.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 5 is Election Day.

 

On Thursday, Nov. 7, the North Country Chamber of Commerce holds its Taste of the North Country event.
