The state Board of Regents holds its next meeting in Albany on Sept. 16 and 17.


Tomorrow morning, Sept. 17, the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership holds a program on health care reform.


Also on Sept. 17, the Senate Education Committee holds the first of a series of public hearings assessing the state’s progress on the Regents Reform Agenda in Long Island.  Subsequent hearings will be held in Albany (Sept. 24), Syracuse (Oct. 1), Buffalo (Oct. 16) and New York City (Oct. 29).



The Moreland Commission to Investigate Public Corruption holds its first public hearing in Manhattan on Tuesday, Sept 17.


The Public Service Commission holds its next meeting in Albany on Thursday, Sept. 19.

On Monday, Sept. 23, the Financial Restructuring Board for Local Governments holds its first Board meeting in Albany.
