Brown Leads in Buffalo Mayor’s Race

According to a Buffalo News/WGRZ poll conducted by the Siena College Research Institute, two-thirds of Democratic voters have a favorable opinion of Brown, and 60 percent said they would vote for him if the primary election were held today.

Brown has served as mayor for nearly eight years, and he has more than $1 million to spend.  His challenger in the September 10 primary, former FBI official Bernard Tolbert, has a major hill to climb to make the race competitive.
