The Legislature is in session today, tomorrow and Wednesday this week.

Later today, the Senate is expected to consider the Governor’s nomination of Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam to the state’s highest court, the Court of Appeals.

The Legislature is in session Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

Wednesday, May 8 is the first state tourism summit.  It will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Hart Lounge in Albany.

Also on Wednesday, May 8, the Senate’s Independent Democratic Conference is holding a public hearing in Rockland County on “overhauling New York State’s campaign finance and election laws to fix New York State’s outdated electoral system and restore trust in our political process.”

Monday, May 13 is the New York State Natural Gas Expo in the Legislative Office Building.

On May 21, most school districts throughout the state will hold their budget votes.
