On Monday, Dec. 17, the Assembly Committees on Economic Development, Job Creation, Commerce and Industry, Small Business and Oversight, Analysis and Investigation will hold a public hearing to review the impacts of the 2012-13 state budget on economic development programs.

Later today, the Thruway Authority Board will meet at a “time and location to be determined.”

On Wednesday, Dec. 19, the REDC awards will be announced in Albany at 10 am. CNBC anchorwoman Maria Bartiromo will again host the event.

The 2013 legislative session commences on Wednesday, January 9, with the Governor’s State of the State Address in Albany.

Also on Wednesday, January 9, the Public Service Commission (PSC) is holding a “technical conference” in Albany on expanding and improving the state’s natural gas system.

On February 12, 2013 the Design Build Institute of America, and the Council for Public Private Partnership will host a workshop “Private Resources for New York’s Future: Public Private Partnerships” at Hotel Albany. More information is available here.
