On Oct. 2, the Rockefeller Institute and League of Women Voters are holding a forum entitled The Challenge of Mandate Relief in New York State.
The Rochester Area Chambers of Commerce are hosting a special forum on Oct. 3—“Election 2012: The Issues Business People Need to Know (and care about).” Panelists include Unshackle Executive Director Brian Sampson, NFIB state Director Michael Durant and New York Farm Bureau Deputy Director Jeff Williams. Oct. 5 is Manufacturing Day, which is intended to expand knowledge about and improve general public perception of manufacturing careers and manufacturing’s value to the U.S. economy. Also on Oct. 5, our partners at MACNY are holding their Third Annual Manufacturing Careers Day.
Oct. 12 is the last day to register to vote for the November 6 general election.
The New York State MWB Forum to be held in Albany from Oct. 25 through 27. It is billed as the “largest statewide business opportunities event for Small Businesses, including Minority & Women Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).”
